TUITION AND FEES
Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and late on the 10th. There is a $15 late fee if paid after the 10th. Tuition price is determined on how many classes you are taking. There is a registration fee due per family. Also, a recital fee per dancer due April 1st.
TRIAL CLASS
We happily offer a trial class to assist you and your dancer in finding a class that is the right fit!
RECITAL
An annual recital is held every year at the Dallas Children’s Theater in June. We work all year long to prepare for a wonderful show. Tickets go on sale around May 1st. Tickets are not sold to the public and are not sold at the theater door. We allotted our dancers a certain number of tickets to make sure we can accommodate everyone first. Then tickets are first come first serve to our studio families. Tickets range anywhere from $8.00-$15.00. Dancers are free, and Mom tickets are half priced. There is a small recital fee, per child, that is due on April 1st.
COSTUMES
Costumes for your dancer are ordered in November. Each costume includes your child’s tights as well. Preschool combo classes and 5-6yr combo classes includes two costumes and two pairs of tights. Half of the costume balance is due on October 15th and the remaining balance is due on November 15th. Please be sure your child is present for measuring day to ensure the correct size costume is ordered. Measuring days are during your child's class the week before the Thanksgiving holiday. Costumes are not custom and will occasionally need a slight alteration. Alterations are not the responsibility of the studio and costumes are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable.
EXHIBITION PERFORMANCES
We love to watch our dancers succeed, so we try to give them as many opportunities as we can to perform for an audience. We love to do exhibition performances. It helps our dancers to prepare for the stage, it’s a great way for friends and family to watch how much your dancer has improved, and to spend a day together. We dance at local events in the surrounding areas such as festivals, races, elementary schools, Christmas events, trunk or treats, and many more. Our competition team has performed at Dallas Mavericks games, Frisco Rough Rider games, Dallas Skyline basketball games, ICE at the Gaylord Texan, and many local events!
EXHIBITION WEAR
We love to wear our DancinO gear! Exhibition wear is sold at the studio for when we do exhibition performances, opening and closing routines in recital, parent show off week, and other events. Shoes can be ordered from Ms Erin as well.
FUNDRAISING
Dancin’Ovations provides many fundraising events to help. We do fundraisers such as Nothing Bundt Cakes, Candles by Carol, Popcorn Papa, Pick A Day Calendars, and more. Fundraising can be applied to costumes, registration and recital fees, and exhibition wear. It is not applied to your monthly tuition.
THE SPARKLERS
The Sparklers is our competitive team that performs at many events throughout our season. They compete three times a year. Our Sparklers have won 1st overall and High Platinum at local contests as well. Sparklers practice at least 2-3 days a week and have to audition for the team. Auditions are held in April. As a Sparkler, you are required to take your core classes to focus on basic techniques to enhance progress as a team. We perform at the Dallas Mavericks Game, Frisco Rough Rider Games, Dallas Skyline Basketball Games, ICE at the Gaylord, and other local events! Senior, Intermediate, Junior, and Petite teams will be determined by Ms Erin after auditions are evaluated. Sparklers not only focus on learning dance techniques, skills, and flexibility, but also teamwork, respect, practice, determination, self-confidence, and builds character while working to achieve goals. We are a team and support each other in class. Sparklers are more than just dance!
THE FORCE
The Force is a one-of-a-kind competitive hip-hop team for ages 5 and up. We are proud of our G-Force (ages 7-10) and Mini Force (ages 5-7) the younger hiphop students. Our award winning hiphop team performs at multiple exhibtions performaces and competions throughout the dance season. Our team strives to learn hiphop techniques, maintain a high energy level and outstanding performance quality. Our weekly rehearsals are challenging as well as fun. Hip-hop is a great way to build confidence, stay fit, and have fun while making new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Previous dance expierence or gymnastics are not required.
STRICTLY RHYTHM
Strictly Rhythm is our competitive tap team. Our Jr. and Sr. tap company are outstanding. Dancers practice 2-3 times a week and compete at three competitions. This is an invitation team only. Strictly Rhythm has won many High Platinum's and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overalls.
